Q: Hi Rebecca, I know how important accountability is to you. How do you stay accountable with your busy life?

A: My best friend Karleen is a serious accountability partner for me. We pray with each other and are very much accountable to each other, especially as it relates to the spiritual and relational areas of our lives. My family, my mentor Evie and my room-mates are a huge help in this department too. One of my life goals is to live without regret, and though I know I won't be able to live this life perfectly, all these people help me pursue this with God's strength. I am grateful for them!

Q: I am curious to know how you deal with the constant pull the modern world today has. How do you keep you mind and heart set toward God without getting distracted, what advise would you give?

A: I definitely do get distracted in my walk with God. Self-centeredness is the area I probably battle most. But I want to fight hard against it cause I realize that living for self is the opposite of living for God. The things that help me keep my eyes on God are; reading great Christian books, being in nature, having friends that encourage me towards God, being at my church on Sunday, being careful about what I watch/listen to, reading the Bible, being intentional about giving to others.
